“Such a beautiful song, something new and beautiful to add to the songs we hear this time of the year. I hope it becomes a classic!”
Ginny B. , Seattle
"This song definitely has the Andy Williams feel and vibe. The vocals are stellar and not over produced with effects which helps get that 50's sound. The lyrics were also really thoughtful and genuine which adds to the nostalgia. Great work!"
The Noble Kind, Rochester
“Beautiful, wonderful lyrics and melody! …wonderful colors and lines, a lot of richness to the orchestration. Great work!”
Staccatofy
"I could feel the chestnuts roasting over an open fire.. stockings filled with care over a fireplace... snow flakes... Jack frost nipping at your nose... the whole nine yards."
Chad C, Rochester US
The Inspiration
Last year, as we were preparing for the holidays, I pulled the box of Christmas lights out of the closet, and found myself missing my daughters who were away at college.
Rather than putting up the lights, I spent time reflecting on the season and Christmas memories of my own childhood. Out of my sentimental pondering, a song emerged. I wanted to write and sing it in a comforting style that Bing Crosby or Andy Williams might have sung in an old holiday movie or Christmas tv special.
